What we’re about
Robot is an electro-mechanical machine driven by software. It may be autonomous or remotely controlled.
Get involved:
Engineers who have hands-on made mechanical joints/casing, electrical supply, circuits, firmware, etc.
Companies in semiconductors, electrical components, mechanical parts, robotics etc are welcome to donate their products for non-profit purpose. Companies may also offer their meeting rooms for an hour on Sundays which is not their workday.
Please excuse: Some persons contact us after watching in movies where using robots may be glamorous & fun. Making them is not that. Actually it is a discipline testing human perseverance & challenges at every corner.
Roadmap:
1. Get a development board & common parts. BeagleBoneBlack or similar SoC can be used.

2. Make a 3D printer.
This in turn can be used to make the body parts for subsequent machines.
3. Implement automation for safe smart home.
4. Make a flying quad-copter.
Location:
Bengaluru has become a big metro city without rapid transport infrastructure, so commuting from once corner to opposite wastes hours.
Most engineers work/live in east Bengaluru. So our venues shall be near Marathahalli outer ring road for easy access.
