Welcome to the Atheist Community of Rochester.
This is a private meetup. You’re safe here as a non-believer.

Here are some of our events that you may be interested in:

FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH: “Being Secular in the Park” - During the summer we meet under a large tree in Highland Park, share stories and get to know each other. When the weather changes we meet in a coffee shop or diner. We may chose a topic to discuss.

SECOND SUNDAY: “Rochester Scientific Thinkers Book Group” - one of our most popular and interesting events. Reading the book is not required. This is open to the public. You will learn a lot just by showing up!

THIRD THURSDAY: “OLD TOAD, enjoying secular company” - we meet at a traditional British Pub. A variety of excellent foods are on the menu including curries, shepherds pie, fish and chips etc. Desserts are sinfully good! Lot’s of beverages. We begin by sharing a meal and socializing , then we have a short educational presentation followed by a discussion. A recent example: “Why can’t Christians convert Atheists?”

There are several other annual events including: The Pride parade, Our annual picnic, a Winter Solstice Celebration with the Center for Inquiry and other educational presentations.
