The weather looks good this Sunday so let's make the most of it. Down by beautiful Honeoye Lake there are a couple of nice breweries that we should visit. One of which is right on the water which invites a pub paddle (like a pub crawl only by kayak/canoe)
Weather depending, I plan to paddle my Kayak from Sandy Bottom Park to the dock at Twisted Rail Brewing (1 mile, 20-30 min). I plan to leave from the park around 11 am so there is lots of time to paddle a bit and still get to Twisted rail at 12 noon for food and beer with the Meetup! If you want to kayak/canoe with me just show up there and then with your boat and we can pub-paddle together. If you don't want to paddle, you can of course just meet us at the brewery at 12pm.
NOTE that Twisted Rail is known for their Loaded Bloody Mary's on Sundays, if you prefer those to beer.
We will next move on to Birdhouse brewing for their excellent beers. Paddlers will of course need to paddle back and load up our boats, so there might be a bit of a time gap here, but I'm sure non-paddlers can find some beer to drink at Twisted Rail or Birdhouse while they wait for us slow-pokes.
Then after a bit, we will move on to Noble Shepard Craft Brewery (with perhaps the area's most unique look (a geodesic dome with a giraffe sticking out the top).
I hope you can join us and on a brewery adventure!
Cheers!
