About us
Thank you for expressing your interest in our group. Our group is not a dating platform; instead, it serves as a safe and welcoming space for both men and women to foster genuine friendships.
We are a group of age 50-plus (mature) singles who want to enjoy each other's company. We are a fun group that plays trivia, watches football, hikes, fitness walks, euchre, goes to movies, theater, live music, concerts, comedy shows, community events, and dines out.
We value respect and mutual comfort among our members, and our primary focus is creating a supportive environment where individuals can connect, share laughter, and build meaningful relationships. If you intend to establish friendships and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals, we wholeheartedly welcome you to join us.
Yearly dues of $6 are due after a 30 day trial period with the group.
Along with your first name, we require a clear recent head shot photo. Please no pets, flowers, or anything else. A recent head shot please.

A Note About Conduct at Events:
We want everyone in this group to have fun, feel safe, and enjoy positive experiences when we go out together. We ask all members to be mindful of their behavior, especially at bars, clubs, or venues serving alcohol.
Please know that excessive intoxication, bringing in alcohol to venues when prohibited, disruptive behavior, or actions that reflect poorly on the group can result in being asked to leave an event or, in some cases, being removed from the group entirely. We aim to maintain good relationships with the venues we visit and create a respectful environment for all.

Let's get playful as we enjoy a beautiful afternoon outside surrounded by nature while we get some steps in. We'll play a little game: find something at the zoo that starts with each letter from A to Z. I'll bring alphabet scavenger worksheets - you bring your pens and curiosity! Afterward, we can share and enjoy the creative results with each other.

To protect the animals and make the Zoo a safe environment, do not throw anything into habitats, tap on glass, make excessive noise, tease or call out to animals. Stay behind the barriers, and do not climb or allow children to climb on or over the barriers. All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, safe, and responsible manner. By attending this event, members agree to take full responsibility for their own actions, behavior, and well-being. You will be asked to leave if your behavior jeopardizes someone's safety, comfort, or reputation. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior, including excessive intoxication, bringing outside alcohol into venues when prohibited, or violating venue policies, may result in removal from the event and/or removal from the Meetup group. Meetup organizers/hosts are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or personal decisions made by group members before, during, or after this event.
