East Coast Swing Dance

Have you always wanted to learn to dance? Come join us for lessons and stay to practice what you've learned. You don't need a partner, but bring a friend if you like.
FREE INTRODUCTORY LESSON
7:15 PM - 8:00 PM
Attendees are then invited to stay for the dance, 8-10 pm, for only $7, to practice all you learned.
Introductory lessons teach East Coast Swing fundamentals, such as:
- dance-ready position
- basic 6-count step for leaders and followers
- hand hold position
- basic inside turn
- basic outside turn
Bring a change of shoes. Outside shoes can not be warn on the dance floor. If you do not have dance shoes wear comfortable, flat, and securely fastened shoes with smooth soles, such as loafers or ballet flats.
