Casual Walk Turning-Point Park

🚶‍♂️ Repeat - Casual Walk at Turning Point Park!
We’ve been receiving requests for either a casual walk or a hike, and our first request was for a casual walk at Turning Point Park in Charlotte, Rochester, NY.
📅 Date: 08/30/2026
🕛 Meet in the parking lot: 12:00 PM
🚶 Walking begins promptly: 12:30 PM
This will not be a brisk walk. We’ll maintain a comfortable, casual pace to accommodate those who prefer or need to walk on paved, level surfaces.
I’ve personally walked this venue many, many times over the years. There are a few steeper inclines, but the majority of the walk is relatively level and should be enjoyable for a variety of walking abilities.
Feel free to bring a guest or two!
I like what we did the last time - walk to the Carousel Merry-Go Round take a quick ride for $1.00
Stop at Abbotts for an ice-cream and walk back.
