##### Who needs to have a New York State Boaters Certificate ??

• Anyone born after May 1st 1996 for any boat or PWC
• Anyone 14 years old or older to operate a PWC
• Anyone 10 years old or older to operate boats not PWC

EVERYONE that chooses to operate ANY boat with a motor starting 2025

# Small Boat Handling

· Rules of the Road
· Aids to Navigation
· Boat Trailering
· Manners, Customs and More

Class will meet Tuesdays starting on February 11th plus the final test will be held on Tuesday March 11th at same location.

Completion of this course and passing the exam will satisfy New York State law pertaining to Mandatory PWC and Boat Handling Certification Requirements for all ages, and will allow young boaters 10 years old and older to legally operate a boat without adult supervision in NYS.

Take your completed course certificate to the NYS DMV and they will be able to add ($12.50 fee) your Boaters Endorsement to your drivers license.
