US Coast Guard Rescue Boats Public Rendezvous and Climb Aboard for Kids & Adults

Join us for a day of safe boating fun at the Port of Rochester on Saturday May 17th!

US Coast Guard Station Rochester and local first responders will be on hand to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Climb Aboard and Explore agency boats, trucks and vehicles !

Participate in activities,
Boating safety checks (life vests, fire extinguishers, etc.)
Water safety demonstrations (rescue procedures, flares, distress signals)
Educational talks (boating laws, safety practices)
Simulated rescue drills and CPR demonstrations
Boat handling workshops (docking, navigation techniques)and learn valuable boating safety tips.

We will be setting up our information center at the North end of the Marina Basin (near the Flag Poles and the Main Building and Abbots)

We will have alot going on in the Port along with Patrol boats and units from all over the Greater Rochester Area !!!
