Stay Connected and Engaged: Join Our Senior Discussion Group!
As winter approaches and the days grow colder, it's tempting to stay inside and hunker down. But what if you could stay connected to your community, engage in stimulating conversations, and tackle the world's problems all from the comfort of a warm diner/coffee shop?
Introducing our new Senior Discussion Group!
This group is specially designed for older adults who want to:
• Discuss thought-provoking topics: Explore philosophy, current events, cultural phenomena, and more!
• Share perspectives and ideas
• Solve the world's problems (at least over coffee)
Bring your wit, wisdom, and experience to the table.
Here's what you can expect:
• Meetings twice a month: Join us for lively discussions on (Monday mornings or TBD).
• Friendly and welcoming atmosphere: Enjoy coffee or breakfast with fellow participants in a relaxed setting.
• Diverse topics and perspectives.
Whether you're a seasoned philosopher, a passionate news enthusiast, or simply looking for stimulating conversation, our Senior Discussion Group is the perfect place to connect and engage with your community. NOTE: This group is still forming – looking to understand level of interest at this point, frequency, etc. I am the daughter of senior parents and I am looking for ways to get them out of the house this winter! My dad is a retired physician who goes stir crazy if he can't get out now and then. Please feel free to contact me here or email me: raana.abbasey@gmail.com Use Subject - 'Rochester Seniors' so I can easily find your messages. Would love any suggestions! So important to help our parents stay connected with others of similar age and experience.
