Let's dye some yarn!!! During this session we will be using jacquard acid dyes to dye yarn. No previous experience necessary! It's so much fun :D

You will need to bring:
- Your own "bare" yarn: undyed or light colored, It will have to be wool or any other animal fiber, NOT acrylic, and NOT cotton, and NOT silk! (these dyes only work on animal fibers, easiest is wool)
- the yarn can be in a hank or as a sock blank, but preferably not a ball or skein
- if you have a light colored wool yarn, it can be "over-dyed"

I will provide:
- the dyes
- gloves
- instructions
- other tools

What if I don't have any yarn for dyeing? D:
- You can buy some yarn at Michaels, some options are: Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool, Patons Classic Wool (NOT Wool Ease, that has acrylic)
- Knit Picks has affordable bare yarns (this is where I usually get my bare yarns)
- if neither of these are options for you, please let me know and we can figure something out :)

We'll be at the Pavilion at Buckland Park, I have it reserved all day but I think noon is a good starting time, this can always be adjusted if necessary.
