Reactive Dog Event - Buckland Park - Rochester Great OutDogs

Details
Explore Buckland Park with other outdoorsy dog lovers! This is an easy 1-1.5 mile trail that is mainly flat and even.
Schedule:
12pm: Meet in the Parking Area of Buckland Park & Go over Rules and Sign Waiver
12:15pm: Start Walk
1:00pm: Finish Walk and Head back to Parking Area
1:10pm: Trainer Talk with Alexandrea (Stick around to ask any questions you may have with our Trainer or just chat about your dog and your goals)
This event is open to reactive dogs, but please feel free to join us even if your dog does not struggle with leash skills! This is a practice event, not an official rehabilitation training session. Trainer Alexandrea will be present to provide support and ensure that necessary safety precautions are taken, and will be available to answer questions and provide recommendations. If you are interested in more specific training opportunities, please reach out to the Summit K9 Team via direct message or email at summitcaninetraining@gmail.com. This hike will be kept on the shorter side, in order to minimize stress as these companions learn to manage anxiety in the presence of other dogs. The area is intentionally open in order to provide ample opportunity to create the space that your dog may need. You are welcome to exit at any point, or simply work with your dog at a distance from the group if you find your dog is not yet ready for this level of exposure. Leashes should be no longer than 6 feet (please no retractable leashes)
I do charge a $10 fee for this meetup in order to make this an official pet training event for insurance purposes. I prefer not to charge group contributions, but any donations towards the meetup subscription which make this group possible are very appreciated!
