Friday night ice ❄️ 11 Mile Canyon! January 16th
Details
Friday Night Ice at Camp Alexander/Lake George in 11 Mile Canyon.
There are usually at least 10 top ropes set up, though lead climbing is allowed. Climbs range from WI-1 to WI-4 Plus (equivalent to 5.7 to 5.10+).
Beginners ARE welcome and gear is supplied with the cost.
This is a great intro to ice climbing and a safe environment if you haven't tried it before!
Ice climbing is very physical and you must be in good rock climbing shape to be able to enjoy yourself. This is a 4 hour session for 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Please try to be there by 4pm.
Please note: This is a 2 hour drive from Denver so plan accordingly.
Climbing fee is $40 for the 4-hour session. This includes boots and crampons (I believe they do have some ice tools if not we can share between us).
You must have a proper climbing gear (harness/helmet/belay device) to be able to climb!

when you're not climbing).
