Climbing the Tiers of Zion

This area has a lot of moderate sport climbs from 5.4 to 11d, an easy approach, and it’s close to Golden. Parking could be an issue if you arrive late. MP has directions on where to park (right after 3rd switchback). Many of you have likely climbed there.

I’ve been to quite a few of Bob’s Meetups and he was kind enough to give me the nod to create an outing myself. No one can match Bob’s vibe, so, you know, lower your expectations. Haha. I limited the attendance to 10 on this one. 7:30am start will help beat the heat. Forecast is mid-80’s but aspect is in our favor.

Let me know your interests for the day (lead/TR, ratings, etc). Should be enough out there for us all to cut our teeth on.

Please note: As a minimum, you must know how to belay someone on TR. Bring your ropes and draws and quads and helmets, etc.

We will do introductions and a quick safety talk before we head to the Crag.
