Welcome to The Jungle - Devil’s Head area

Hoping to grab one more great day of climbing at The Jungle in Devil’s Head area.

WE WILL MEET AT THE PARKING AREA AT 9AM and hike in together after a brief safety talk and gear check.

Sport climbs range from 5.6 to 5.10+, though harder grades abound nearby. Have at it!

The Jungle Wall faces due south so should be warm if the sun is shining. Still, bring layers in case it gets cold. At this time the forecast is cooperating nicely (low 60s, sunny). It’s a little over an hour drive from Golden.

As a prerequisite, you must know how to top-rope belay. Please have a harness, shoes, helmet, and belay device. If you have a rope, quad set-up, draws, etc., bring ‘em. A great attitude also contributes to making the day fun and memorable for all.

I live in Golden and have room for 3 carpoolers if needed.
