Climbing at The Dog House @ Tunnel 5 CCC!

Sunny and mid-50’s on Sunday? Are you kidding? Now THAT I can work with!

This event is for sport climbing in Clear Creek Canyon at The Dog House area west of Tunnel 5. We will meet at 9:00am and plan to be climbing by 9:30 in the sun.

I limited this to 8 total including me, out of respect for the fact that this crag is likely to be crowded due to its sunny aspect.

We will likely do routes at Other Critters Wall as well as The Dog House. Both areas have a multitude of routes at various difficulty levels. Definitely something for everyone!

At a minimum, attendees should be moderately experienced climbers and know how to belay a top roper or a lead climber. You must bring your own harness, shoes, belay device, and helmet. Also bring a great attitude, a sense of adventure, and a spirit of teamwork!

We always appreciate folks’ interest in these outings. That said, these outings are absolutely NOT “guided trips” nor are these outings instructional. You are responsible for your own safety and liability. This is just people who enjoy climbing, climbing together.
