A warm welcome from RAMM - The Rock And Metal Meetup!

Thanks for your interest in joining our group. We're an ever-growing London-based group of metal heads and rockers. We conduct regular social events (usually drinking in metal pubs, pub crawls or club nights) and we periodically host meetups at rock and metal gigs.

Our main membership is 20's and 30's but all ages are welcome. Anyone is welcome as long as you're down to enjoy yourself. You don't have to be a metal-nerd to join us; both experienced gig-goers, newbies and people returning to the scene are welcome!

We do ask that all of our members follow a few simple rules and guidelines:

1) Our group is open to anyone - please be respectful of other people's views and leave your politics at the door.
2) We have a zero tolerance policy on harassment, bullying, discrimination etc.
3) We are not a dating site. Whilst people can and do connect in our group, we ask that you meet people in real life first. Do not message people you haven't met (it’s not cute or funny) and if you approach someone and they turn you down, leave it at that.
4) Due to bigger and bigger numbers attending our events, we have had to start putting caps on our events. If you do sign up to an event and realise that you can't go, please take your name off the list. If we notice people who keep not turning up, we may issue a warning or ultimately, remove you.
5) As much as we hate having to have rules - we have an absolutely wonderful group at the moment, and it's important that we keep any potential creeps out. We don't like having to vet new members but its become a necessity. We ask that you have a genuine picture (of you!) on your profile. If you don't have one, we are unlikely to let you into the group.
