Grunge Covers at The Water Rats

Grunge tribute band from up north called Seattle Thrift Store are hitting London at the Water Rats in King's Cross. This will be a special show divided into 2 parts. The first set will be in the style of MTV Unplugged. So expect some kind of candle lit setting and mellow numbers to ease in the audience. Then the 2nd half will be straight up electric and all the energy needed to be warped back into the 90s.

We can expect this show to be highly pleasing whether you are a casual grunge fan or a pure aficionado of it. While they cover all the obvious bands you would expect (Pearl Jam, Nirvana, AlC, Soundgarden) they also go even broader with other bands that are not often covered (L7, Hole and more).
