Sulphur springs trail and Helicopter pad search

There was a description of a spot near the end of the Sulphur Springs trail called Helicopter Pad on hikingupwards.com. Apparently hikingupwards has been sold to allmyhikes.com but can no longer find that description.

Apparently it is the best 360 degree views of Virginia. We tried to locate it a while back and didn't find it. Maybe nature has taken over and the spot is no longer accessible. Anyways, we will try the Sulphur springs trail according to this link: Sulphur Spring Trail, Virginia - 337 Reviews, Map | AllTrails

and then deviate a bit when we get to the top near the junction with AT.
