New Meetup: Darrington Climbing

From: Matt B.
Sent on: Thursday, July 16, 2009, 8:36 AM
Announcing a new Meetup for The Seattle Climbing Meetup Group!

What: Darrington Climbing

When: July 25,[masked]:30 AM

Where:
Thrifty Foods, Arlington
146 E. HALLER AVE
Arlington, WA 98223

Lets do Three Oclock Rock!
Trad, mixed and bolted routes. Predominately multi pitch but there are some really good single and first pitches here too. It's about 1 1/2 miles in on a good hiking trail, takes about 40 minutes. If you haven't been before it's a place you really should try.

Please specify if you have a rack, rope(s), lead etc. If you are planning to do the multi pitch routes be aware that most of them require two ropes to get back down.

We'll meet at the thrifty mart in Arlington at 8:30, 146 E Haller Ave. That should get us climbing by 10:00 and still let you guys down in Seattle get up at a semi reasonable hour :-)

If the weather looks iffy we'll cancel by Thursday night, but it looks pretty good for now.
