GW Shore Walk & Picnic RETURNS! EDGEWATER ENTRANCE ONLY.

Details

Come enjoy a walk along our wonderful Hudson River with views of NYC and the Majestic George Washington Bridge to be followed by another one of our gourmet picnics! This will be about a 1-2 hour Slow/MODERATE PACED walk including breaks.

We will be doing an easy, approx. 3 mile walk on the level, paved and woods white shore trail to the Englewood Boat Basin and back, taking in expansive views of the Hudson River and NYC. We will also be stopping by the memorial bench for our old friend Jay Glaser. Extra walk below the bridge possible after the picnic.

I hope to do a bridge walk from the Ft. Lee Historic park another day soon!

SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM AND POST WHAT YOU PLAN TO BRING IN THE COMMENT SECTION SO EVERYONE CAN SEE WHAT WE NEED. Please post if you can bring an extra folding table as they may come in handy. If you plan to do grilling, please let me know as I have lighter fluid and matches but you will need to bring charcoal.

Parking is Free on Wednesdays.

CARPOOLING is recommended. Good supportive walking or hiking shoes/ boots are recommended, as the paved areas can be hard on the feet.

Bring WATER(WHICH IS MANDATORY to attend), snacks, bugspray, sun protection, kites(for after the hike), frisbees, bubbles, etc. and coolers, ice packs, etc. with something to share for the picnic after.
