"Reflections" Jazz & Swing Band w/ "our" Harry Geist at Avon Park!

Come join us for a relaxing summer evening, in another one of Rockland Countys' parks! Harry Geist, our talented meetup member and member of this band, among others, will be performing so come show your support.

All are welcome, not for singles only.

Free concert at the Virginia Menschner Gazebo, Avon Park, almost directly across from the Lafayette Movie theatre and monument.

From Piermont library previous show: Reflections is a traditional 18 piece big band with vocalist, based in Rockland County New York. Led by trumpeter Paul Bastone, the band plays a wide variety of popular music including hits of the 30's and 40's right up to compositions by contemporary composers. Swing, Rock, Funk, Jazz - this band plays it all! If you enjoy the sound of a powerhouse big band, this is the group for you.

Bring chairs or blankets, sun protection and maybe a picnic dinner, water and bugspray. If rain, the concert will be held inside the recreation building adjacent to the gazebo.

MEET ON LAWN AT 6:30 TO GET A GOOD SPOT FOR THE 7PM PERFORMANCE. Bands usually play about 2 hours.
