Return to Celery Farm, a Birders' Paradise
Details
Let's end the week with a little Zen at this little hidden oasis in Allendale with over 248 species of birds along with various mammals, fish, reptiles and insects. It's the only place where I had the thrill of seeing Cedar Waxwings! It's a great time to go as it is migration season!

The woods trails are primarily level with some VERY ROOTY spots, grassy areas, a bridge crossing and some boardwalks. There are also three viewing stations with stairs overlooking Lake Appert. Depending upon the current weather conditions some areas could be a little muddy.
This hike will be approximately 2 hours at a slow, moderate pace covering about 2-3 miles with MANY stops. The Merlin App will come in handy for identifying birds by their vocalizations.
To best experience Celery Farm, sharpen your senses and keep the noise level to a mininum.
