Afternoon Walk at Rockland Lake & Dinner at A Matter of Health

Come stretch those legs and get some fresh air on a late Autumn walk at Rockland lake.
Those interested can join us after, for a healthy meal at "A Matter of Health" located at 138 Rockland Plaza, next to Barnes & Noble in Nanuet, a short drive from the concert venue tonight. Check them out at: https://online.amatterofhealth.net. They have an extensive hot and cold food bar.

This will be about a 1-2 hour walk covering approx. 3 miles at a slow/moderate pace. There will be several stops at the piers, possibly the Nature Trail and more for wildlife sightings.

The path is paved and level so all you need are good walking, hiking shoes or sneakers, water and don't forget your cameras since there are plenty of photo opts! Not for singles only. Dress in layers as it can get breezy around the lake.

PARKING IS FREE at this time of the year.

Meet us at PARKING LOT 1, by the flag pole, in front of the big park office and by the new pool. Drive in thru the Congers, NORTH ENTRANCE, at the light and follow the signs bearing left, for parking field 1, which will be on your right. If for any reason this lot is closed we would then meet at Lot 2.

If you are driving south on 9W from Haverstraw, etc. you would take the first northern park entrance in Congers which will be on your left.

If you are driving from Nyack on 9W heading North, you would take the second northern park entrance in Congers which will than be on your right.
