We will be starting a little earlier now at Lambert Castle for the 2pm tour for those who are interested. The tour inside is limited to 20 and open to the public and will be approx. 1 hour.

NO INDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY IS ALLOWED. They will provide you with shoe coverings to protect the newly refurbished flooring.

For those who wish to skip the tour, the Carriage house is open and free to explore and we can take photos of the buildings from the outside.

Restrooms are available in both buildings.

After our visit to Lambert Castle we will take a short drive over to Garrett Mt. Res. and meetup in the Pat Di Lanni Boathouse and Barbours Pond Picnic area Parking Lot P. Look for Parking Lot sign in Photos for our walk/hike.

To get to Garrett Mt. Res. from Lambert Castle, head South .1 and turn right on Valley Road (CR 62). Drive to Pat Di Lanni Boathouse and Barbours Pond Picnic area Parking Lot P. Look for Parking Lot sign in Photos.

We'll see what's coming up for spring at this popular, scenic park that has a little bit of everything; a pond, panoramic views, history, wildlife and an equestrian center!

Tower will be open later this spring.

At Garrett Mt. Res. we will be walking on a one way paved road which has pedestrian lanes on either side and some woods trails depending upon conditions. There are some moderate inclines and a few rocky areas which can be avoided if you choose to stay on the road.

Weather resistant hiking shoes or boots recommended. Dress in layers and use sun protection.
Water is mandatory and snacks may come in handy.

Walk is approx. 3-4 miles at a slow/ moderate pace with many stops.

The Observation Tower will reopen later this spring.

Event time is an approximation, depending upon time spent at the Castle and the group.

Port o johns are in several locations. The restroom near the playground and lookout is open.

Inclement weather cancels. Always check the day of an event for possible update.
