Let's enjoy a brief warm up in the weather and chase the winter blues' away!
If we're lucky, we may get a sneak preview of preparations for the Knickerbocker Ice Festival, while enjoying a Winter Wonderland and possibly nature's ice sculptures along the shores of the lake!

It's also migration time so keep your eyes peeled for eagles and a great variety of migratory ducks. Bring your binoculars.

This will be an approx. 3 mile brisk walk with stops along the way for wildlife sightings and to take in the views. The level, path is paved and cleared of snow, but there may be a few wet spots so weather resistant hiking boots, or shoes are recommended along with sun protection and water. Dress in layers as it can get breezy at times around the lake.

Remember to keep to the right on the path, to allow cyclists, and all to pass safely.

Careful in the parking lot in case there are some remaining slick spots.

Restroom at Lot 3 is open.

Option to go for coffee or a bite to eat after, at a nearby venue depending upon interest and availability
