Hudson River Sunset Walk in Piermont

Come enjoy another taste of summer with a sunset walk on the pier. Enjoy private gardens along the way, the Mulberry trees that line the pier, views of NYC and the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Optional additional short walk to Half Moon Park a few minutes down Piermont Ave. with great Hudson River views.
This will be about a 1 1/2 hour slow/moderate paced walk with a few stops and one longer stop at the end of the pier.
Bring WATER, a snack or enjoy some ice cream after at the Piermont creamery or a late dinner at one of the many Piermont eateries.
Dress in layers as it can get breezy out on the pier. Good supportive walking/ hiking shoes or sneakers are recommended along with Water, sun protection, Bug Spray and cameras of course.
THERE IS PLENTY OF PARKING ON THE SQUARE, BY THE LIBRARY, AND IN THE BIG PARKING LOTS BEHIND CONFETTIS RESTAURANT and ACROSS FROM THE LIBRARY.
