Rockville Community Plant Share

We are a community social group that shares plants in the Rockville, MD area.

The Rockville Plant swap was started in 2020 when we were all in full lockdown. Just looking for some thing to do! And now we are a group of over 2k and we meet once a month to swap plants and meet our neighbors. I do have a shelf in my front yard. That is the similar concept to a little free library where it is available 24 seven.

While there is no requirement to donate and share, that’s really the only way that this works. If people continue to donate plants and tools to the plant shelf when they come to take some thing.

Please only leave plant related items at the shelf. There have been things like dishes and clothes, which kind of makes it difficult for me to maintain order if there is all kinds of extra things left there. We do have a little free pantry, a little free art box, and a little free library in our neighborhood for these other items.
