Group Description
This group is about photographing small products with dramatic lighting. The products can be anything small. Examples of small objects include: Jewerly, watches, any type of food, perfume, new beer/wine bottles. Head shots are very welcome in this group. Some events will be at various studios in the DC Metro Area, and events will be outside. Light painting objects is also part of this group.
Who should join this group?
Anybody is who is interested in photographing products as described above or headshots. Anyone who is interested in experimenting with natural or artificial lighting. Anybody who is interested in product photography lighting as well as portrait facial lighting is more than welcome to join.Anybody who likes to experiment with light painting, which can be done with one exposure or more exposures.
What this group is not about:
This group is not an architectural group. This group is not a full blown portraiture group. This group not is a landscape/nature or wildlife group. This group will have portrait related events like headshots etc.

Latest with The Light Painting Table
OnlineThis webinar is about how Michael Pucciarelli does light painting with the Canon Mirrorless cameras and with Photoshop and Bridge. I will show how I use the LED flashlights with filters and reflectors and white scrims. I will showcase all the equipment I use, which includes stands, LED lights, lighting modifiers, supporting tools, and all kinds of background probs. Bran new equipment will be introduced with many updates. This webinar will contain a demo photoshop with my latest updated actions I use in Adobe Photoshop. The camera settings section is updated with the Mirrorless Canon Cameras. Explore how he uses Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) for editing photographs in Light Painting. These students will learn how to use multiple exposures of several frames to create the final image with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge. The students will learn about masking in Adobe Photoshop when building the final image. New ways on how to use actions in addition to action groups will be introduced in Photoshop and ACR.

Latest with The Black Plexiglass Table
OnlineJoin instructor Michael Pucciarelli on how he uses the black plexiglass table. For this table, the instructor will start with an MS PowerPoint presentation. Different lighting will include flash, continuous, and LED lighting. Props like white/black cards, silver cards, and gels will be used for affecting the light. Camera settings for still life photography will be discussed. There will be a YouTube demo about this table. There will be a separate demo for Adobe Camera Raw and for Photoshop. Action groups for quick photo processing will be used. Differences will be demonstrated with all three tables with Photoshop and Bridge. The students will walk away with valuable knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Camera Raw, and still life photography.
