
What we’re about
We meet weekly for one hour to practice simple silent mindful meditation, walking meditation, followed by poetry, tea, and brief conversation before going on our way. This group is welcome to all and is suitable for those who wish to begin a meditation practice. We meet rain or shine, and on holidays. The leader is an authorized Zen meditation teacher focusing on interfaith simple meditation for all people.
Mondays Schedule 4:30-5:30 pm: Brief meditation instruction followed by a bell, 10 minutes of silent meditation, silent walking meditation, 20 minutes of silent meditation, followed by a gratitude verse, tea and snack and a poem, and brief reflections about the poem before heading home.
We have been meeting since 2024. Come the days you can. Try it it's freely offered.
