Portrait Photography Basics in Studio and On Location

Bring your camera and your desire to learn how to create simple portraits of individuals, kids, groups even pets (dogs).

The class is taught in one of the areas largest studios with plenty of space. Receive hands on instruction with live models from Jack Hartzman (http://www.JackHartzman.com), a 30 year seasoned portrait and event photographer and Directory of Photography at the host studio of The Washington Talent Agency (http://www.washingtontalent.com).

This Meet-Up will concentrate on understanding how to find the "best" side of a face to photograph, how to control window light, use studio strobes or simply the flash on your own camera.

If time permits, learn the difference between RAW and JPG files, how to process them and most importantly, how to store them.

You should bring your DSLR Camera, tripod if you have one and any other gear you want to learn how to use.
