Adopt-a-highway program for Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary

Rockville Vegans is now sponsoring the adopt-a-highway project for Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary. We will be picking up trash along the side of the road where Poplar is located. Poplar’s address is 15200 Nebo Road, Poolesville Md 20837. We will park on the left hand side just inside the gate. We will not be parking way down the road at the actual farm. Poplar will provide the gloves, trash grabbers, and safety vests for visibility as we work on the side of the road. You just need to bring yourself and maybe some water. The project does not involve working with the animals. I, David the event organizer, have been organizing this project for 12 years.
