St. Patrick's Day Parade Prep for Rockville Vegans

Rockville Vegans is walking in the St. Patrick's Day Parade held in Gaithersburg on March 15th at 10am. Parade details can be found here. Please help Rockville Vegans prepare for the parade by decorating our banner as well as prepare materials and candy to toss into the crowds at the parade. We will be meeting at Montrose Park in Rockville, MD. If there is inclement weather, we will change to an indoor venue.
Rockville Vegans is accepting vegan candy donations to give out during the parade. You can bring your candy donations to this event.
Tasks to complete for the parade prep:
- Decorate the Rockville Vegans banner
- Attach QR codes with links for Rockville Vegans to the candy
- Attach candy to PLNT Burger coupons
- Brainstorm ideas to make sure Rockville Vegans makes a splash at our first parade appearance
A separate Meetup event will be posted to ask for volunteers to walk the parade with us. We encourage all ages to come and participate. We also encourage you come in your Rockville Vegans apparel. The link to purchase Rockville Vegans swag can be found here.
