Golden - Soda Creek - Evergreen Loop

Saturday is shaping up to be a classic super-nice Colorado September day! This route is one I like to call, "Witter Gulch the easy way." We'll meet at Beverly Heights Park in Golden at 7:45 for an 8:00 departure. After climbing Lookout and Genesee, we'll head west through the scenic Soda Creek area and then Old Squaw Pass road. We'll then descend Witter Gulch to Stagecoach and loop through Hiwan Hills to Bergen Park. After our regroup we'll drop down Kerr and climb Grapevine to complete the ride.

The complete loop is 58 miles with 7100 feet of climbing, so the "easy way" part is a little tongue-in-cheek. If you want to shorten the ride a bit, you can remove the Kerr/Grapevine loop at the end and subtract about 10 miles.

Our regroup point is at the King Soopers Gas Station in Bergen Park at mile 37.
