Ken Caryl - Conifer - Richmond Hill Double Lollipop

This ride takes in some roads in south Jeffco that many have not done before!

We'll meet at the Ken Caryl Park-n-Ride at 7:45 with wheels turning by 8. We'll take the easy way to Conifer (Deer Creek, Turkey Creek, Aspen Park). After a stop in Conifer, we'll head down to the Richmond Hill area to do two loops. Some of the views down there are amazing! From there we return via Foxton and, of course, Broken Arrow.

The complete route is 54 miles with 6200 feet of vertical. While there are a few steep pitches in the Richmond Hill area, the climbing on this ride is overall less steep than on many rides that we do.

Notes:
-Formal regroup points are at the Conifer Sinclair at mile 18 and the Pleasant Park Grange at mile 41.
-The Richmond Hill area does have a couple sections of dirt, but they are very rideable on standard road tires. You can leave the gravel bike at home for this one!
-We ride a few miles on US 285, but the section we use has a gigantic shoulder, so it's actually quite tolerable.

While we will regroup periodically, this should be considered a drop ride.
