2026 RMCC New Year's Day Century
Details
Please join us for what is usually one of our most popular rides of the year, the RMCC New Year's Day Century!
The route takes in the great flatter in Boulder and Larimer counties, with a few short climbs throw in, including Carter Lake and Masonville. The ride features wide-open roads, big shoulders that should be clear of snow/ice, and relatively manageable traffic.

Location: Starts/ends at the US 36/McCaslin Park & Ride on the NW corner of the US-36/McCaslin Blvd interchange. We meet on the south end of the lot close to the light rail tracks.
We will meet at 8 AM with departure at 8:15 AM.
Support/regroup points:
- Lyons: Circle K, 24 miles
- Loveland: Sandy's, 63 miles
- Hygiene: Mountain Mercantile, 84 miles
While we do regroup on a periodic basis, this should be considered a drop ride.
Looking for something a little shorter? That's easy to do. Cutting off the whole part north of Hygiene will give you 58 miles. Skipping the Masonville loop will give you 80.
Non-dues paying members are invited to join us on this ride, once you've done 3 rides with the club we do ask that you join: https://rockymountaincyclingclub.com/. It's only $25 for the year!
The event date could change depending on the weather and road conditions.
