Lookout and Beyond (RMCC Road Ride)
Details
This is a ride that takes in just about everything that can be done in the Lookout Mountain area. We'll ride Lookout, the Mansion, Genesee Mountain, Genesee neighborhood, Mother Cabrini, Red Rocks, and Grapevine, before descending back down Lookout!
We'll meet at Beverly Heights Park at the base of Lookout Mountain Road in Golden at 9:45 with wheels turning promptly at 10.
The total ride is 48 miles with 6300 feet of climbing. Skipping the Red Rocks/Grapevine loop at the end would give you 35 miles and 4400 feet.

The formal regroup point is the Kum-n-Go at the bottom of US 40 (mile 29). We'll do other quick regroups along the way as well. Still, like all RMCC rides this should still be considered a drop ride.
Obviously it's early March, so this ride is subject to being rescheduled, replaced, or cancelled if the weather is not suitable. If you think you want to do the ride, please RSVP so you can be updated with any changes.
