This road ride is part of the RMCC Challenge Series (https://www.rockymountaincyclingclub.com/rmcc-challenge-series).

Join us for what is without question one of the most spectacular rides in Colorado! This ride takes in Trail Ridge Road in both directions. We'll meet at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center in Estes Park at 6:15 for a 6:30 departure. We're going with the early start to beat traffic and afternoon storms.

The course itself is straightforward--we'll climb up to the top, descend to Grand Lake, and then return. The complete route is 89 miles with 9500 feet of climbing.

Obviously you can simply return from the top if you don't have the legs to go both directions!

Do note that if you do not have a National Park Pass that there is a $15 entrance fee to RMNP.

Formal regroup points will be:
Alpine Vistors' Center at mile 21/68 (water available)
Grand Lake at mile 45 (Conoco at the entrance to town or there are coffee shops/stores etc. in town)

This should be considered a drop ride although we will regroup on a periodic basis.

Non-dues-paying members are welcome and invited to join us on any ride! After three rides we do require that you join the club: https://www.rockymountaincyclingclub.com/rmcc-membership-application-form
