Do you enjoy being outside, being on the water, and being part of a team?! If so, dragon boat just might be the sport for you! Dragon boat is a paddling sport where you race in a giant canoe with 21 other people. This ancient sport has more than 2,000 years of history, originating from China and thriving globally today - including in Colorado!
- The goal of Rocky Mountain Dragon Boat (RMDB) is to bring community members together through the sport of dragon boat.
- RMDB is a non-profit dragon boat club based in Aurora, Colorado that supports a mixed gender team, a cancer survivor team, and a paradragon team for people with physical disabilities.
- Throughout the year, we have many opportunities to not only get on the water, but to give back and volunteer with other teams.
- We compete in local dragon boat and festivals festivals across the country.
