On July 19th Rocky Mountain Dragon Boat is hosting a cancer survivor paddle + potluck at Aurora Reservoir. Family, friends, and oncology providers or other health care worker are more than welcome too!!! Details below:
Cancer Survivor Paddle + Potluck
Dates: July 19th at 11:00am
Location: Aurora Reservoir. Meet at the Boat Ramp: 5800 S Powhaton Rd, Aurora, CO 80016
Activity: Dragon boat paddling followed by a potluck. Boat, paddles, and PFD will be provided. NOTE: We only have adult PFDs to borrow, so if you are bringing a child, you must bring your own child PFD. No one is allowed in the boat without a PFD.
Cost: $15 park day pass per vehicle
What to bring: Sun protection, water, a camp chair/blanket, and food to share for potluck (please bring a note listing common allergens). Wear athletic, splashable clothing – you can wear a swimsuit, but it’s not necessary.
Post-Paddle Fun (Optional): Group potluck and hang out at the Aurora Reservoir!
