Summer Book Sale
Details
On the floor of our Rogers Park Library are the words, Read, Learn, Discover, a reflection of the Chicago Public Library’s mission. This branch library welcomes all to read and pursue lifelong learning, and provides our neighborhood access to information, ideas, and knowledge through diverse book collections, programs, and digital resources. With these resources, this branch library strongly supports intellectual freedom by encouraging everyone to Read, Learn, and Discover.
The Friends of the Rogers Park Library helps bring additional resources to our library, making it a stronger neighborhood learning center. Last year, we helped get more books, more equipment, such as a digital projector and sound system for movie nights, additional instructors to show students how to paint, fold paper into origami ornaments, and even bought equipment and refreshments to provide a haven for our teens.
Help us continue helping our library by buying books at our Summer Book Sale on June 13, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm. We welcome volunteers to help with the book sale. There is a sign-up sheet at the information desk. On June 13, buy an armload of books and help the Rogers Park Library
