This is a series of 10 Python programming workshops, meeting every 2 weeks, and working through the free online textbook "Learn Python the Hard Way" (http://learnpythonthehardway.org/book/) by legendary programming curmudgeon Zed Shaw. This series is open to all ages. Hack Lab membership is not required, and no prior programming experience is required. All you need is a laptop, decent typing skill, and an eagerness to learn!
This will not be a typical student/teacher class. We'll be spending most of the time writing code together! David Lowe (https://roguehacklab.com/mediawiki/index.php/User:Dlowe), a professional programmer and python expert, will be leading the workshops, available to help and answer whatever questions may come up.
Non-members are encouraged to make a small donation to the Rogue Hack Lab (https://roguehacklab.com/) for each workshop, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
