Join the Rogue Paddling Club for an introduction to dragon boat racing. Whether you're new or looking to join a fast growing water sport, this event is for you. Dragon Boat Racing is a complete cardio/ full body workout that will get you in-shape while having a great time. We provide the training and necessary gear to try it out. You'll learn the basics of paddling techniques, conditioning and water safety.

7:30am Arrival & welcome, get your gear (life vest and paddle), paddling orientation, warm-up
8:00am Hit the water and paddle!
9:15am Rinse boat, recap, questions

First 3 practices are free, after which we ask that you consider joining our team (membership dues required).

What to bring: a good attitude, water, sun block, sunglasses. Also, a towel and change of clothes just in case - this is a water sport and there's a chance you'll get hit with a lil splash here and there.

Where to park: street parking is available if you come early, the lot is paid parking.
