We’re back — and this time, it’s all about scale, security, and smart solutions.
Join us for another round of our tech talks where systems grow huge, attackers get clever, and tools evolve faster than your caffeine tolerance.
At this Meetup, we’ll explore how modern engineering meets real-world complexity: from saying goodbye to outdated DB passwords with a Rust-powered GUI, to taming one of the biggest OpenShift clusters out there, to diving deep into the archetypes of modern attackers and what drives them.

Expect sharp minds, raw insights, and a few “wait, that actually worked?” moments.
Come for the talks, stay for the vibe — where curiosity meets code.

🎤 Talks Line-up

Goodbye, DB Passwords: Vibe-Coding a Rust GUI for CloudSQL Auth Proxy

Still juggling database passwords like it’s 2010? We were too—until GCP’s CloudSQL Auth Proxy changed the game. But while the proxy solved our security headaches, its CLI made us miss the vibes. So, we built our own: a cross-platform GUI in Rust and Tauri that turns connection management into a breeze. Join us for a story of how DevOps met Rust, ditched passwords, and learned a few lessons about building native apps along the way.

The Biggest OpenShift Cluster

  • Presented by: Štěpán David, DevOps Engineer at Fortuna Entertainment Group

How big is big? Try FEG-normous. Managing one of the largest OpenShift clusters is not just about scale—it’s about sanity. From runaway pods to mysterious node behavior, this talk takes you inside a living, breathing infrastructure that pushes the limits of DevOps. Expect hard-earned insights, a bit of chaos, and a few “we probably shouldn’t have done that” stories.

The Archetypes of the Attackers

Today’s apps are under constant siege—from insiders, cybercriminals, and even nation-state actors. But defending effectively starts with understanding who you’re up against. This session dives deep into attacker archetypes — their motives, methods, and mindsets — and what studying them teaches us about smarter, more resilient defense strategies. It’s a peek inside the psychology of threats and how knowing your enemy makes you stronger.
