What we’re about
The Sierra Club's Range of Light Group (ROLG, Toiyabe Chapter) welcomes you to join us on our many and varied outings in the Eastern Sierra throughout the year! We are avid hikers, backpackers, snowshoers, cross-country skiers, kayakers, canoeists, birders, and environmentalists who treasure the Eastern Sierra of California, centered in Mono and Inyo Counties.
Our major activities include short and fairly easy summer outings in the immediate Mammoth Lakes area, and longer, more challenging weekend outings throughout the Eastern Sierra. In winter ROLG offers cross-country ski and snowshoe outings. Non-members of the ROLG are welcome to participate in all of our group's activities.
