Easy Hike to and around Inyo Craters

This is an easy hike up to the Inyo Craters through the felled fir and lodgepole up to the craters. Round trip from the parking lot to the craters is about 1.4 miles, and we can get in a little more mileage by hiking around the craters. This is just a short, easy, after-work hike. All are welcome and we'll stay together as a group.

The parking lot for the Inyo Craters includes a vault toilet and interpretive sign. It's an improved dirt road about 1 mile in from the scenic road. Bring your binoculars, if you're so inclined. Even though it's a short hike, be prepared with water, hiking shoes, snacks, and whatever 10 essentials you deem necessary. No dogs, pets, animals, please.
