Hanami @Laghetto dell'EUR - painting, poetry, picnic!

Event day: SUNDAY 29th of march
**Hanami **means “looking at flowers.” It is one of Japan’s most beloved traditions, when people gather under blooming cherry blossom trees to celebrate the arrival of spring. 🌸 During this time, friends and families enjoy picnics, seasonal food, and moments together while admiring the beauty of the blossoms.
In this picnic / workshop, we will experience the spirit of Hanami through crafts, poetry, and the observation of nature.
You will have the chance to:

*Play with different origami creations

• Experiment with painting, creating a cherry blossom branch with simple brushstrokes inspired by ukiyo-e
  Discover* haiku **poetry through fun group activities
• Learn about** botany **and the different parts of a flower
  *Taste mochi sweets while enjoying the spring atmosphere

MATERIALS (and mochi:)) WILL BE PROVIDED!
Feel free to bring food&drinks to join our picnic lunch after the workshop.
