Oxidizing Node.js with Rust

There are some use cases where you need a systems language inside your Node.js application, which means writing code in C/C++. In this talk we'll see instead how to use Rust for writing safe and fast native Node.js modules.

Hack together a basic nodejs interface for a smart outlet

This is going to be a collaborative effort between the partecipants and the speaker to try to create a basic nodejs interface that is able to connect and manage a ubiquity mPower pro.
It will be a useful exercise to see how we think and how we approach problems.
