Juggling technology, timing and customers as a solo entrepreneur

Details
When you are a solo entrepreneur you wear many hats: developer, designer, negotiator, planner, and more. In a world with infinite possibilities how do you decide where to spend your most precious resource: your focus?
You could do anything, and take as long as you want to do it, but building and launching a product takes discipline: You need to be your own Chief Technology Officer.
You need to understand the technology landscape, decide what to build, who you are building it for, how to build it, when to launch it and what tradeoffs to make along the way.
In this talk Damian will share lessons from his experience building and launching several successful, and many unsuccessful software products and businesses.
Damian Mehers started programming on 8 bit microcomputers in the early eighties, and still loves it: Imagining something and then making it real is magic.
He has built and sold several software product businesses, worked for startups such as Evernote (back when it was a startup), as well as working as consultant at large multinationals such as Nestle. He currently has several apps in the app store, one of which is almost always in the top 50 apps for its category and sometimes in the top 200 apps overall.
The event is kindly hosted by SoKube.
