Join us as we explore Ken Puls' Monkey Tools Excel add-in (available at https://monkeytools.ca), which contains a set of tools to help you build Excel based solutions more quickly and follow data modeling best practices.
The philosophy of Monkey Tools is simple: Build better, faster.
It is targeted at Excel users who want to improve their efficiency and data modelers and analysts who work primarily in Excel.
But wait... did you say Power BI? As it happens there are Power BI compatible features in Monkey Tools as well, including the ability to import from Power BI back into Excel!
In this session, Ken will walk us through some of the amazing features included in this handy set of tools.

Before stepping into Excelguru Consulting Inc. full time in May 2015, Ken spent over twenty years working in public practice accounting and industry as both Controller and an IT Director.
Ken has led the installation of over a dozen systems conversions and implementations of various types, and been exposed to a vast amount of business systems, including point-of-sale systems, databases, and analysis tools, some of which he wrote from scratch.
Ken hosts the Excelguru website (www.excelguru.ca), which provides an extensive catalogue of Knowledge Base articles, and his free help forums for questions on Excel, VBA, Power Pivot and PivotTables, Power Query, Power BI, and more.
