About
This trail also coincides with the “Via dei Lupi”, the “Wolves’ path”. Learn more about the wolves, endemic to this area, as well as the
Maremmana breed and other animal and plant species, while enjoying
beautiful panoramic views.

▶ This experience begins and finishes at the parking area in front of “Tivoli”.
▶ Difficulty Level: Medium/Difficult (Distance: ~8,5 kilometers (5.3
miles), Elevation gain: 320m (1050 feet), Includes uneven, mountaineous
terrain)
▶ Children (14+) must be accompanied by adults and used to longer hikes.
▶ Not suited if you suffer from vertigo.

on weather conditions, unexpected obstacles (e.g. a fallen tree along

What’s included?
• Hiking tour from the parking area of “Tivoli” to
Monte Catillo, through an Oak forest (loop)
• About 90% of the tour will be hiking, about 10% will be explaining noteworthy points of interest
• The hiking tour will start and end very close to the train station of Tivoli

What should you bring?
🟢 Obligatory: Hiking boots, 1.5 liters of water, clothing suited for an outdoor hike, backpack, bring your own hiking lunch
🟡 Recommended: Comfortable backpack, raincoat, sunscreen, hat
(protection from both sun and rain), trail snacks, tickets for public transport
🟠 Optional: Hiking poles, electrolytes, sunglasses
